The David Barry Group was created to help organizations bring clarity and direction to their marketing and communications. After more than two decades working inside mission-driven organizations, I’ve seen how quickly marketing efforts can become scattered without clear strategy and leadership.
Most of my career has been spent inside organizations — not advising from a distance, but doing the work. Leading brand development, shaping communications, guiding media strategy, and helping organizations determine how they show up and grow.
For more than two decades, that work has taken place where the stakes are high, and the work matters — connecting organizations with the people they serve and the communities that support them.
Today, through The David Barry Group, I work alongside nonprofits, social enterprises, and purpose-driven organizations that need clearer direction in their marketing and communications. Sometimes that means refining brand and messaging. Other times, it means bringing structure to efforts that have become fragmented across teams, platforms, or priorities.
The goal is simple: align the brand, messaging, leadership, and visibility so that communications support the organization's mission and long-term growth.
